Pre-Conference Workshops are located in various locations
PARKING
Conference parking will be in the Matthews Street Garage on the 3rd floor and above.
Do NOT park in Red/Reserved spaces on the first two floors. Attendees should enter the LBJ Student Center through the back entrance at the bus loop. Volunteers and signage will be available to help direct you.
You can find directions to the Matthews Street Garage on Apple or Google Maps. You can also find driving directions to the LBJ Student Center here. These instructions guide you to Student Center Dr, where Matthew St. Garage is located.
Do not park in the LBJ parking garage.
PURCHASING A PARKING PASS
ATTN: You must pay for a campus parking pass ($5) ahead of time.
The instructions are below. Please have your vehicle information ready.
Select Event Type “SUMMER PROGRAMS/WORKSHOPS/CONFERENCES”
Select Event “Southern Family Farmers & Food Systems Conference”
Select Permit Type “Standard Vehicle Event”
Click “Add Vehicle” button, enter vehicle information, click the “Add Vehicle” button at the bottom.
Enter your name and click “Confirm” followed by the red “Continue” button.
Scroll to the bottom of the checkout page. Enter your email address for receipt and email attachment with permit and parking information/instructions. Click “Continue.”
Move through the Checkout Page.
Your receipt and parking permit will be emailed to you in PDF form.
Parking permits are virtual and there is no need to print anything.
Please note that this parking lot is NOT handicap accessible – you have to climb stairs to get to the LBJ Student Center from the main lot. If stairs pose a problem for you, please email smallproducers@txstate.edu, and SPI will arrange for you to get a parking pass at a lot that is handicap accessible to the building.
