2026 Networking Events
“The positives were connecting with the organizers, speakers, vendors and attendees. You could really feel the buzz of interconnectedness!”
“We always have a great experience. It feels like a family reunion. From the planning team to the exhibitors and attendees. Such an amazing community SFFFS conference brings together!”
Veteran Farmer & Rancher Breakfast
Farmer Veteran Coalition of Texas hosted a breakfast meet-and-greet with veteran farmers and ranchers, veteran serving organizations, and community members who are interested in networking and sharing resources at the 2026 SFFFS Conference.
This gave producers an opportunity to share experiences and connect to other veterans with similar operations or in similar areas.
Farm & Ranch Freedom Alliance (FARFA) Coffee & Community
FARFA’s Coffee & Community was a great opportunity for current and prospective members to connect, ask questions, and learn more about FARFA’s mission to support independent family farms and local food systems.
Attendees met fellow advocates, shared ideas, and discovered how to get more involved. They also provided input as FARFA updates its strategic plan!
Community Seed Social
The Central Texas Seed Savers hosted a community driven seed swap!
Attendees and seed companies (Johnny’s, High Mowing and Baker Creek Seeds) brought seeds to share with the conference community!
All remaining donated seeds were distributed to seed libraries across Central Texas.
Organic Farming Research Foundation Networking Session
The Organic Farming Research Foundation (OFRF) invited researchers, extension specialists, and technical service providers to a special meetup and networking session! The gathering gave those working (or interested) in organic research, education, and extension a chance to connect, share research updates and collaboration ideas, and learn about USDA funding and advocacy opportunities.
GRAZE & GATHER
Attendees gathered for our Monday evening event, Gather & Graze.
Hosted on-site and immediately following the Monday sessions, the conference community came together for dinner, drinks, live bluegrass music and a chance to relax after a full day of learning!
A huge thank you to our music sponsor, Farmgrass!
