Campus Construction and Shutdowns
PARKING
Conference parking will be in the Matthews Street Garage on the 3rd floor and above.
Do NOT park in Red/Reserved spaces on the first two floors.
You can find directions to the Matthews Street Garage on Apple or Google Maps. To get to the Student Center, you will need to cross Student Center Drive and walk up the stairs following signs to the conference. Volunteers and signage will be available to help direct you.
Do not park in the LBJ parking garage:
It is a pay per hour garage and you will be responsible for any fees you incur while parked there. Conference organizers and staff cannot validate parking.
ADA and Limited Mobility:
Once you have purchased your parking permit and you have an ADA placard, you can park in any ADA designated space. If you have limited mobility, once you have purchased your parking permit, you can park in any legally marked, non-reserved space in the purple, green or red lots across from Matthews Street Garage.
PURCHASING A PARKING PASS
ATTN: You must pay for a campus parking pass ($6) ahead of time.
The instructions are below. Please have your vehicle information ready.
Select Event Type “DEPARTMENT SPONSORED EVENTS/MEETINGS”
Select Event “Southern Family Farmers & Food Systems Conference”
Select Permit Type “Standard Vehicle Event”
Click “Add Vehicle” button, enter vehicle information, click the “Add Vehicle” button at the bottom.
Enter your name and click “Confirm” followed by the red “Continue” button.
Scroll to the bottom of the checkout page. Enter your email address for receipt and email attachment with permit and parking information/instructions. Click “Continue.”
Move through the Checkout Page.
Your receipt and parking permit will be emailed to you in PDF form.
Parking permits are virtual and there is no need to print anything.
